Pema Kilaya provides two ways for individuals to sustain and be a part of Dza Kilung Rinpoche’s mandala of activities for the benefit all sentient beings.
Pema Kilaya Dharma Wheel Supporter
Becoming a Dharma Wheel Supporter is a way for individuals to experience connection with Dza Kilung Rinpoche’s blessings, teachings, and with his humanitarian activities to preserve nomad and Buddhist culture in East Tibet. It is appropriate for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike.
Supporters help sustain the Buddha Dharma in this world and for all beings, while connecting with the compassionate intentions and activities of Dza Kilung Rinpoche.
Formal student of Dza Kilung Rinpoche
After a year of participation in the Sangha as a Dharma Wheel Supporter, individuals may apply to become a formal student of Dza Kilung Rinpoche. If accepted, the one-on-one connection with Rinpoche allows for a deeper commitment by both student and teacher on behalf of one’s exploration into the Buddha/Dharma. In this ongoing student-teacher relationship, students look to Rinpoche for inspiration, instruction through group teachings, personal interviews, and practice guidance. This support and connection with Rinpoche, and also with each other as Sangha Members, encourages the development and fruition of one’s practice on the path of awakening.
Pema Kilaya Sangha membership is by application and is appropriate for students with different levels of experience, which are:
- To study Buddhist meditation as described in Dza Kilung Rinpoche’s book, The Relaxed Mind.
- To begin to receive instruction and practice experience on the Vajrayana path of the Longchen Nyingtik lineage.
- To continue to deepen practice and experience in Longchen Nyingtik and Dzogchen.
Individuals may fall into one or more of the above categories, and may include those who are already committed to other practices or other teachers.
